The Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) has today published their regulatory judgement for Amplius following an inspection that took place during the summer.
It was our first full inspection since our merger in December 2024 and considered how we’re governed, our financial viability and how we’re performing for our customers.
The regulatory judgement for Amplius is G1 for Governance, V2 for Viability and C2 for Customer.
We’re pleased that the Regulator highlighted the improvements we’ve made to our repairs service, the way we handle complaints and how we engage with our customers but accept that we need to get even better and be more consistent to enhance overall customer experience.
Julie Doyle, Chief Executive of Amplius, said: “We’re satisfied that the Regulator’s judgement is fair and balanced, and their feedback has been constructive and extremely helpful.
“As a newly merged organisation, we’re pleased to have retained our G1 and V2 ratings and acknowledge that we’ve room to further improve the service we provide our customers, and we’re determined to achieve C1 in the future.
“While we’ve shown good progress in some key areas, particularly when it comes to our repairs service and complaint handling, it’s imperative that we build on this.
“We’ve taken the feedback we’ve received on board and, guided by a clear improvement plan, will address the issues that have been raised.
“By doing that, we’ll deliver the improvements that the Regulator expects and continue to go further and do more to provide the services our customers deserve.”
Back in November 2025, the RSH provided Amplius with interim gradings for Governance and Viability based on the ratings held by Grand Union Housing Group and Longhurst Group before our merger took place.
At this point, Amplius was rated at G1 and V2.
