We delivered more than 900 new affordable homes last year.
This is the most successful performance we’ve had since becoming Amplius and has led to around 2,700 people moving into a new home.
In total, we delivered 909 homes between 1 April 2025 and 31 March 2026.
While this is slightly below our 1,000 homes a year target, Marcus Keys, Chief Development and Commercial Officer was proud of all colleagues who helped achieve the record.
He said: “It’s a great performance and we’ve delivered those homes across our operating geography.
“We had a really busy end of year, and the team worked together across different departments to help us achieve 155 actual handovers in March and 40 sales also in March, which was a record-breaking month for us.
“If you think that on average we’ve probably got three people per home, that’s 2,700 people we’ve housed last year, which is really good.
“We were below our target of 1,000 homes, but we worked really hard to get to 909.
“The reason we were below target is we had slippage on a couple of jobs and one particular project fell away.”
Development continues at pace, and whilst acknowledging the challenges, the team is working hard to secure additional opportunities to get to the 1,000 target this year and then sustain a programme of that scale.
Marcus added: “We’ve just submitted our largest ever Homes England bid under the new Social and Affordable Homes Programme, and should hear the results of that later this year.
“This will help bring forward many future schemes.”
