Going further and doing more for our customers

Our corporate plan – Go Further and Do More – sets out our future aims, how we’ll achieve them and why we’re determined to get things right for our customers and make a positive difference.

We want our customers to trust us to provide the homes and services they want and to rely on us to be there when they need us the most.

To deliver our corporate plan, we need to begin by getting the basics right.

That means we need to ensure we’re providing safe, affordable and accessible homes for our customers.

From there, we can go further and do more to improve their lives and enhance the health and happiness of the people living in our communities.

Based on the Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, which explains that people must satisfy basic needs before being able to appreciate things like social belonging and self-esteem, we’ve set out a list of five priority areas that we need to get right to have maximum impact

We’re calling these our Five Steps of Purposeful Impact:

You can find more about each of the five steps here.

These building blocks will help us realise our vision and achieve our purpose. By delivering in each of these areas, we’ll absolutely go further and do more for our customers and our communities.

From having safety and certainty, all the way to being settled and supported, people will be more able to thrive as part of a community where they feel they belong and can play an active role.

Our Chief Operations Officer, Phil Hardy, explains more about our Five Steps of Purposeful Impact and how they’ll help us deliver our corporate plan in the video below.

Created in partnership with our customers

Our customers played a key role helping us to develop our Five Steps of Purposeful Impact. In addition to learning from their feedback from a range of surveys and our Tenant Satisfaction Measures results, we’ve worked closely with our Customer Influence Panel on this project.

During a workshop attended by a range of Amplius colleagues, members of the Panel shared their views about the things we should focus on and prioritise and helped us shape the language we should use.
