Dozens of affordable homes have now been completed in Grantham.
We’re working in partnership with Allison Homes to deliver the Manthorpe Chase development in the town.
In the first phase of the scheme, 84 affordable homes will be built. More than half of these have now been completed, with the latest handovers taking place last week.
The affordable housing will be made available for Shared Ownership, Rent to Buy, social rent and affordable rent.

Marcus Keys, Chief Development and Commercial Officer, said: “Reaching milestones such as the one at Manthorpe Chase is always rewarding, as it shows that our hard work is paying off and takes us another step closer to achieving our goal of providing 1,000 new homes a year.
“These homes will help local families get onto the property ladder, or have a safe and warm home to rent at an affordable price.
“They’ve been built to a high standard, with energy efficiency at the forefront of the design and we’re delighted with the progress being made on site.
“I’m looking forward to welcoming our new customers to their homes as this neighbourhood continues to grow.”
The two organisations have agreed to extend the partnership for a further 48 affordable homes in phase two of the project, which is part of Allison Homes’ wider 480-home Grantham Village development.

Marcus added: “Our partnership with Allison Homes continues to deliver high-quality homes where they’re needed most, so I’m delighted that we’ve extended our agreement at Manthorpe Chase and will be building even more affordable homes here.
“We know there’s a need for this type of housing in this area, so it’s important we work collaboratively with our partners to address this.”
A total of 60 of the 84 homes in phase one of the scheme have been part-funded via a Homes England grant as part of our strategic partnership.
Michele Raucci, Build Director of Allison Homes, added: “Reaching this handover stage at Manthorpe Chase demonstrates the strength of our partnership with Amplius and our shared commitment to local communities.
“It is rewarding to see the development taking shape as these properties are handed over, and we are thrilled to build on this success with a second phase to deliver even more high-quality, affordable housing in Grantham.”
