The first homes on a Cambridgeshire affordable housing development have been completed.
A total of 63 homes are being built on a site on Gosmoor Lane in Elm, and the first eight properties have now been finished.
We’re delivering the scheme in partnership with Fenland District Council and D Brown Building Contractors.
The completed homes will be made available for social rent.
Marcus Keys, Chief Development and Commercial Officer, said: “We know there is a need for affordable housing in this area, so these homes will provide local people with the opportunity of having a warm and safe home to call their own.
“To see the first homes being completed is very rewarding, as we’ve worked hard alongside colleagues at Fenland District Council and D Brown Builders Limited to make our plans a reality.
“Progress on the site has been good and I’m looking forward to watching it continue as we move towards completing the site by the end of the year.”
Adam Mayer, Managing Director of D Brown Building Contractors, is pleased to see the progress being made.

The development has been part-funded via a Homes England grant through our strategic partnership.
