Our Warm Homes: Social Housing Fund project in Rushden was at the centre of a visit by stakeholders and partner organisations.
Colleagues from our partners, including the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ), Salix, Lovell, Henman Dunn and Aico, visited our show home to see the work being done to improve the energy efficiency of our homes.
During the visit, they listened to presentations from Amplius colleagues, as well as technical information about the work being done by our contractors.
This was followed by a walk around various streets where dozens of homes are being improved, before speaking with customers who have benefitted from the project.

Fallon Warren, Head of Asset Optimisation, Sustainability and Commercial Facilities, said: “It was wonderful to be able to host the visit to Rushden and to engage with so many of our partners and stakeholders.
“From the feedback we’ve received, they all seemed to be really impressed with our project, most notably the street-based approach and how involved customers have been throughout their journey.
“We’re really proud of the work we’ve been doing as part of this project, and we’re looking forward to sharing our learning and expertise with other organisations who perhaps don’t have as much experience in retrofit.”
As part of the Warm Homes: Social Housing Fund wave 3, we’re investing around £42.5 million into about 2,200 of our homes.
We’ll be improving the energy efficiency of these homes and bringing their Energy Performance Certificate rating up to at least a C.

Marcus Keys, Chief Development and Commercial Officer, was also part of the event.
He added: “It’s always good to be able to demonstrate our work, and the impact it’s having, to government departments, funders and other partner agencies, and events like this are a great way to be able to do that.
“I’m pleased that everyone seemed to be so impressed with our work and I’d like to thank all my colleagues who are working on this project on a daily basis.
“I’d also like to thank our customers for accepting the significant short-term disruption as we work in and around their homes, balanced against the envisaged long-term utility bill savings.”
